OUR APPROACH

Abundant Living Counseling believes in treating the whole person: spirit, soul, and body for complete and lasting healing. This approach integrates biblical truth with evidence-based practices to restore peace, identity, and balance.

SPIRIT

Healing begins with the spirit. Every session is grounded in biblical truth, guiding women to rediscover their identity and worth in Christ. Faith-based principles serve as the foundation for lasting transformation, helping clients experience renewal, peace, and hope from the inside out.

SOUL

Healing the soul involves understanding the mind, will, and emotions. Abundant Living primarily uses Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help clients explore and harmonize their inner world. Elements of CBT, DBT, and EMDR are also incorporated to promote emotional awareness, self-compassion, and resilience. Through this process, clients develop practical tools for self-regulation and personal growth.

BODY

True healing includes caring for the body and understanding how trauma impacts it. Abundant Living incorporates the neurobiology of trauma and Polyvagal Theory to help clients regulate their nervous systems. Both Bottom Up (using the body to calm the body) and Top Down (using the mind to calm the body) approaches are taught, empowering clients to reconnect with their bodies and restore a sense of safety and balance.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

If you’re ready to take the first step toward healing and hope, we’re here to walk with you.
